It is possible to create a Sample Assessment for new Centre Admin, Assessors and Learners to sample the assessments.


The Administrator

STEP 1

Needs to set up a RUN ID as the nominated Sample Assessment

  1. Add a suitable name for the Sample RUN ID
  2. Make sure that the correct Centre is selected
  3. And the course
  4. and the Assessor (Tutor) - who can select more Assessors in their login page if required
  5. Place a tick in the Centre Sample Assessment 
  6. Select a main and 
  7. Resit paper to add to the RUN ID



STEP 2


By default all of the modules are closed.  So the Centre Admin will need to open any that they want a Sample Student to take.  

Press the Assessment link


Then the View link

Then   OPEN ASSESSMENT FOR ALL  or  open for each Sample learner separately if preferred


and the page will look like this to confirm what is open

STEP 3

  1. Create a SINGLE Sample LearnerID Use a suitable name e.g. Centre Initials_Sample e.g. ABCSample
  2. fill in a name - we recommend Sample as a good first name as the website will say Welcome Sample_1,2,3 etc.
  3. and a Surname
  4. email - nothing is emailed so any fake email will do e.g. centrename@test.com
  5. Ensure the correct centre is selected  **  VERY IMPORTANT ** 
  6. No need to place a tick as there are no emails sent
  7. No need to place a tick as there are no emails sent
  8. Select the correct course 
  9. and RUN ID for that Centre

 IMPORTANT: add a PASSWORD that is easy for people to enter - it can be the same as the Sample Learner USerName  


When the Sample leaner is set up their username and password can be found in the Centre Admin Page


EVERY person wishing to sample the Assessment as a learner will use this username and password.


Each time this is used the system will automatically create a new learner.  e.g. SundayTrialSample_L1_1 



The Assessor(s) (Tutor(s)) home page

Will see a Demonstration Message at the top of the page

And can see the first Demo account




The Learner(s)

All learners log in using the same username and password.  Each new learner will have an incremental number added to the end of the original sample username 01,02,03,04 etc.


Each leaner will have access to their own Sample account.  It will state that the course is a demonstration at the top of the page.


The Assessment Tab will function normally.  It will need to be opened by the Centre Admin before any Assessment Papers can be attempted.

Once the Centre Admin has opened Assessment Papers they will be available for the Leaner to start

After the Learner has taken as Assessment Paper it is then marked as Awaiting Marking and the Assessor can now go ahead and start marking.


ASSESSOR (TUTOR)


Can See the Learners completed session

and can by clickin on 1 above => then mark any manual items that require marking and once all marking is completed press the   MARKING COMPLETED    button



the Learner will then see their final SCORE



ADMIN USER

Reset all data button



   RESET ALL DATA    button - does exactly like it states and... 


1. Closes all Assessment Papers for all learners

2. Deletes all attempts by all learners
